St Stephen's Episcopal Church

The people of St. Stephen’s help in the neighborhood, throughout the community and in ways that reach the larger world. We offer activities for the young and old, from out of town to the larger communities and folks from all different walks of life. We serve food, sing in choirs, help with service projects and generally roll our sleeves up when called upon to help. We give leadership to organizations and activities that benefit many. We do what we can and sometimes more. And, we are grateful recipients of blessings beyond what we could imagine.

The worship at St. Stephen’s is a mixture of the joyous, the spontaneous and the formal. Some gather at 8:00 a.m. for a quiet service. Some gather at 10:00 a.m. for a service that includes singing, a children’s homily and a not too long sermon. Some gather at other times for special services honoring those who have died, celebrating those who are joining together in marriage and for those special days and times throughout the year when gathering together for worship just seems like the right thing to do.

And, we experience the Good News that God loves us, is always with us and wants us to live a life filled with love and joy!

This is a time of renewal.
